Mary, the mother of Jesus, is to this very day often referred to as a virgin, or as the Virgin Mary.
While it is certainly true that at the time of the Messiah’s conception, she was a virgin. She and her husband Joseph, however, did have other children after the birth of Christ. And might I add, these other children were conceived in the normal manner that both you and I were conceived.
So that being the case and it is, Mary was not a virgin at the time of her death. And yes, she is currently dead and not somewhere in heaven, but that is best left for another time and post.
I will now show scriptural evidence to prove that Joseph and Mary had other children aside from Jesus, and therefore in turn, proving that Jesus did have other brothers and sisters.
Matthew 12:46 And while He was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him.
Matthew 12:47 Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”
Matthew 13:55 Isn’t he the son of the carpenter? Isn’t Mary his mother, and aren’t James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas his brothers?
Matthew 13:56 Don’t his sisters still live here in our town? How can he do all this?”
Galatians 1:19 The only other apostle I saw was James, the Lord’s brother.
So scripture proves that Jesus did have brothers and sisters and therefore, also proves that Mary was no longer a virgin at the time of her death.
